Welp, there goes the jobs. Stop & Shop now has an autonomous robot named Marty that checks the store for debris and other hazards to report to store employees.
I like technology, BUT NOT WHEN IT IS BEING USED AGAINST THE HUMAN WORKFORCE. PEOPLE NEED JOBS, and so I don't support job-snatching technology like robots!
This is what it says:
"This store is monitored by Marty for your safety. Marty is an autonomous robot that uses image capturing technology to report spills, debris, and other potential hazards to store employees to improve your shopping experience."
