End of YouTube, huh... Wow. If I said that 7 years ago, people would say I'm CRAZY! Even now, that seems crazy. But not really. How? Well, how has YouTube declined recently:
2019, March: Top YTber is a corporate (boo!)
2019, August: This corporate, T-Series, already has over 100 million subscribers, while PewDiePie, the highest individual YTber reaches 100M subs around 10PM EDT 8.25.2019.
2019, September: YT sub counts become abbreviated. This "kills" sites such as SocialBlade.com
(ex. 101M instead of 101,527,563)
2019, November: YT announces a new Terms Of Service, effective 12.10.2019 which will KILL ALL DEMONITIZED YT CHANNELS (99% OF CHANNELS ARE DEMONITIZED!) This one move will probably be the beginning of the END of YouTube.
Other things in 2019:
Article 13 is passed, strengthening copyright (in a bad way), and possibly the permanent BAN of memes worldwide)
Turkish YTber Enes Batur falsely copystrikes HUNDREDS of YouTubers and many are removed from the platform that did nothing wrong! By YT law, he should be removed from the Service, but he hasn't been removed yet, MONTHS after this happened.
YouTube is in HELL right now, with possible new competition for video sites (Amazon already has a plan; they have registered the names AmazonTube and OpenTube) and the site you're on right now!
