What a start to 2020 for YouTube! The beginning of COPPA, major changes to the terms of service, and now, PewDiePie taking a break. Wow, just wow! 102 MILLION FOLLOWERS and he's GIVING UP?! Wow. But amassing all the controversy of him from 2017 to now, we here at TR27 MEDIA can understand why.
Some of the controversies over the past few years:
2017: Him saying the N-word in anger on a livestream (he later said sorry)
2017: Him paying a guy on Fiverr to hold up a, let's just say, a controversial sign
2017: The end of Scare PewDiePie, and Disney says goodbye to him after all the racist material he put out
His last video, titled "It's been real, but I'm out!", released 15 Jan 2020 to YouTube was released and fans everywhere are crying out for his departure. He says he is taking an indefinite break, and let's see where that goes.
